What Do I Need to Know About Freeflow Spa Ownership?

Spa Ownership

How do I install my hot tub?

Installation with a Freeflow Spa is simple! All Freeflow Spas are Plug-N-Play, which means no special wiring required. All you have to do is fill it up with a garden hose, plug it into any standard 110v outlet and enjoy! See our quick start guide here.

What if I have a problem with my spa?

Your first call should be to the dealer you purchased your Freeflow Spas hot tub from. They can help you assess any issue and send out a service tech professional if necessary.

You can also call us! Our Customer Service is well versed in all our Freeflow Spas hot tub models and inner workings. We also have some great “how to” videos to help you get familiar with some of the routine maintenance and functionality of your spa. Check them out!

Where do I find a copy of my owner’s manual?

We’ve got a treasure trove of information for spa owners, including an electronic copy of your Owner’s Manual, in the Owner’s Corner.

Do I need special wiring or electrical resources to get my spa set up?

All Freeflow Spas are Plug-N-Play, which means no special wiring required! They are 110v spa that need a standard plug. Do not use an extension cord! However, if you want to run the jets and heater on high at the same time, you may want to change it to 230v. This will require you to work with a licensed electrician to upgrade your 110v spa and set up a dedicated 50amp outlet near the spa. Freeflow Spas are extremely energy efficient. The Plug-N-Play model will maintain heat (within a few degrees) throughout your soak so that you can use the jets on high during your hot tubbing time. But you always have the option to change it to a 230v because all Freeflow Spas are 110v/230v convertible. Check out our quick start guide here.

What’s the warranty on my Freeflow Spas hot tub?

Every Freeflow spa comes with a 5-year structure warranty, 5-year shell/surface warranty, 1-year equipment warranty, 1-year labor warranty, and 1-year plumbing warranty. If you purchased a Freeflow Spas Premier Series spa, you also get a 2-year warranty on the synthetic wood cabinet.

Water care really scares me. How much effort does it take to keep my water clean?

You’re not alone. In fact, that’s one of the biggest concerns 1st time hot tub owners have. We’ve done our best to make water care as simple as possible. You want to spend more time soaking than cleaning, right? We get it! Check out this video to see just how simple it is.

What's the hottest I can make the water?

Freeflow Spas hot tubs can warm up to a toasty 104 degrees. That's quite warm, though. So check out what temperature works best for you before committing to that max temperature!

Can I use saltwater in a Freeflow hot tub?

No, we do not recommend using saltwater or salt systems with Freeflow Spas. They were not designed for the salt environment and may corrode depending on the system used and the water parameters maintained. Any resulting chemical damage to the spa will void the warranty.

How do I install the Ozone Kit on my Freeflow Spas hot tub?
